Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, France

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon 57%, Merlot 39%,  Cabernet Franc 3% and Petit Verdot 1%.

This is the 2nd wine of Chateau Branaire Ducru, one of the 61 Chateaux classified under the Bordeaux 1855 Classification.

Duluc de Branaire‑Ducru was introduced in the 1990s to allow the estate’s younger-vine lots to be bottled under a separate label while maintaining the Chateau wine style .

The 2018 Duluc shows a polished yet approachable style—medium/full-bodied, with structured tannins and a harmonious balance of fruit and oak .

Duluc de Branaire‑Ducru is a superb reflection of Saint‑Julien’s terroir and the expertise of Château Branaire‑Ducru—but at a friendlier entry price.

Crafted with all the precision of the Grand Vin, it uses younger vines to offer immediate appeal and versatility, yet carries enough structure and depth for modest aging.
