Grape: Carricante.

Carricante is an ancient native Sicilian white grape variety which is found mainly in its chosen area, Etna, where since 1968 it has been protected by a DOC.

It's name is of dialect origin, from the word "u carricanti", which underlines the tendency of this vine to produce abundantly and generously, so much so as to fill carts with grapes.

The high fixed acidity, the rich range of Mediterranean aromas including citrus, apple, anise, licorice and a good set of fruity aromas that blend perfectly with its lively final flavor, make it a structured and elegant wine.
